Apartment Rental Rates 2012/2013

Rent includes water, trash removal from outside dumpsters, local phone service, and basic cable television service. Electricity use is metered in each apartment and the Housing and Residence Education department bills tenants monthly.

Gas service replaces electrical heating in Corry Village. Kitchens in all Corry apartments, except those in recently renovated buildings, also utilize some gas service. Gas service is metered by Gainesville Regional Utilities (GRU). GRU bills tenants monthly.

Selected current residents in various villages may have a room type and rental rates that are not reflected in the listing below. When those residents move out, the specific apartment will be reclassified into one of the types/rates below.

Apartments are provided in an unfurnished condition except for standard plumbing fixtures, a stove/oven, a refrigerator, and cabinets in all kitchens and most bathrooms. Dishwashers are present only in Tanglewood Village apartments in the north "district" ("2901" building) or any 2-bedroom apartment (including TownHouses) anywhere in Tanglewood Village.

Graduate & Family Housing Rental Rates

Rates for the 2012/2013 school year are expected to take enact on July 1, 2012. These rates are currently considered to be anticipated rates and are still subject to change pending final approval of appropriate authority.
