Academic Initiatives & Enhancement (AIE)
This office responsible for the development, oversight, and assessment of Residential Learning Communities and Academic Enhancements in residence halls.
Resident TV (The Residence Information Channel - Channel 8)
Resident TV is a resident/student media outlet which transmits on a closed cable channel to UF's residence halls. A monthly schedule of recent-release movies plays with a computer-generated slideshow looping continuously between movie showings. Current movie schedules are posted at the start of each month. Academic Technology TV is on Channel 15 http://video.ufl.edu/attv.html

Recycling
The Department of Housing and Residence Education is committed to making recycling a priority on campus.
The University Police Department and Housing Security provide security for the residence halls and graduate/ family village communities through regular car and foot patrols.
