Recommended Packing List

The items on this list are intended as suggestions and are not required. Students and parents should note that new residents need not tote all this stuff from home, as there are plenty of retail options here in Gainesville (i.e. Walmart, Kmart, Target, etc.) You may also wish to check with your roommate to bring items to share.

IRHA has found a convenient, affordable way to ensure you have sheets that will fit the extra-long mattresses in our residence halls. The Residence Hall Linens program has all your campus living needs, from extra long twin sheets and comforters to matching towels and storage items. Proceeds from this program go to the IRHA and are used for programming in the residence halls at University of Florida. Please visit the RHL website.
