1. Graduate, professional or similar student
2. Have a spouse and/or dependent children live with you
Graduate and Family Housing apartments are rented based on availability and we take applications and rent apartments throughout the year. Eligible students should apply 10-12 weeks prior to their desired move in date. The application process requires a UF Student ID number and a non-refundable $25 application fee.
2. Select an Available Apartment
We cannot hold apartments or monitor availability for individual students. Note that the list of vacant apartments is available only has move in dates 6-8 weeks in advance because we only require 60 days’ notice before current residents move out. Any newly available apartments will be added to the listings at 9:00 AM on Fridays. Only eligible applicants can select an apartment.
3. Complete your Contract, Pay your First Month’s Rent and Move in!
Once you have selected an apartment online, you will digitally sign your contract. Also, you can choose to pay your first rent payment online or in person. Please read over our payment guidelines. On your move in date, you will come to our main office to submit any necessary paperwork and to receive your key. Our office is located on the corner of Museum Rd and SW 13th St.
How to Apply:
You can apply for campus housing after you complete an application for admission to UF and receive your 8-digit UFID number and Gatorlink ID. It is best to apply for Graduate & Family Housing at least 10-12 weeks before you plan to move in. You can only select an apartment if you meet all the eligibility requirements. Submitting a UF housing application is not a guarantee of campus housing. In addition to the application, our apartment selection and contracting process are also done online.
