Live, Learn, and Lead with Fellow AIM Gators

Location: Yulee Area

The AIM LLC is a partnership between the Department of Housing and Residence Education and the Office of Academic Support. The AIM LLC consists of students who are selectively chosen by the Office of Admissions upon entering their first year at the University of Florida. Criteria for selection may be based on the student’s SAT/ACT scores, family income, high school geographical region or graduation rate, and whether the student is the first in their family to attend college. The AIM LLC serves students who UF feels will benefit from the additional support provided to enrich the student’s academic program.

Living and learning together in the Yulee Area during Summer B helps students create networks, friendships, and strong academic habits that will support their academic success throughout their UF careers!

How to Join:

Students are admitted to the AIM Program through the University of Florida admissions and selections process. Once admitted via the AIM Program, students are required to attend Summer B semester and to live in the selected Summer B AIM Residence Halls.

Once selected for the AIM Program, students must apply for Summer B Housing and then sign their contract and pay associated fees through the Housing Management System (HMS) Portal. The contracting process may change slightly each admissions/contracting cycle, and the most up-to-date information can be found at http://www.housing.ufl.edu/undergrad/apply/howto/.

Once the student has applied, signed their contract, and paid associated fees, they will be assigned to the AIM-assigned Residence Halls for that term. Once they have received their room placement, forthcoming will be move-in information via Gatorlink email and the Housing Website.
