Location: Spring Complex and Jennings Hall
The GatorWell LLC has two locations at Springs Complex and Jennings Hall is a partnership between GatorWell Health Promotion Services and the Department of Housing and Residence Education. The GatorWell at the Springs and Jennings is designed as a supportive and educational residential learning community aimed at facilitating a health and wellness learning process for first-year students at UF.
The GatorWell LLCs are designed to educate students on health and wellness activities in partnership with GatorWell Health Promotion Services. Students will learn about health and wellness related campus resources, develop healthy lifestyle practices, and engage in activities that encourage balance and personal growth.
The GatorWell LLCs aim to help students to become aware of health and wellness related resources on campus and build community and a foundation for healthy life while participating in events and activities that encourage balance and allow for personal growth. Students have access to resources that teach time management skills, health promotion tools, and a stress-less room. Students can enhance their academic success through high-quality programs and services.
How to Join:
Shortly after the official notification is sent to students admitted to the University of Florida, the Housing Assignments Office will send Housing contracts to students that have an active housing application on file. Students who complete the housing contract process (sign the contract and pay the prepayment) will be able to indicate hall/room preferences. During that time you will be asked if you are interested in living in an LLC and if so, which one. Simply indicate GatorWell at Jennings or Springs as your choice. Students will be able to select a room during the self-assignment process simply need to select Jennings or Springs Complex to be a member of the LLC.
