Disability and Medical Related Accommodations
Housing and Residence Life offers accessible housing options in multiple halls across campus. Students may request their disabilities and/or medical concerns to be considered when applying for housing. To do so they will need to register with the Disability Resource Center. The Disability Resource Center will work with students to collect appropriate documentation to support their housing accommodation request.
After the student has registered, the Disability Resource Center will provide Housing and Residence Life a list of recommended accommodations. Housing staff will then confirm a housing agreement has been completed and will either assign a student to a room or reach out for more information. Students who receive housing accommodations do not need to select a room through the self-selection process.
Due to high demand, it is recommended that all returning student accommodation paperwork be submitted before February 1; and all incoming students to submit their paperwork before May 1.

Disability Resource Center - The Disability Resource Center works with over 4,500 Gators with disabilities to remove barriers, engage with faculty, staff, and students to provide an inclusive campus community for all.
Counseling and Wellness Center - The Counseling and Wellness Center helps students to learn the skills to cope with stresses of change and growth so they are better able to learn and thrive after their time as a student is over.
Student Healthcare Center - The Student Healthcare Center helps students achieve their optimal health in the pursuit of personal and academic success.
Transportation and Parking Services - Provides parking permits such as disabled tags and transportation on campus for students with physical mobility impairments with their Gator Lift van.
Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Queer+ Student Engagement. - Provides education, advocacy, and support for students who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questions, and straight-allied students, staff, and faculty.
