Volunteer Role

Move-In Volunteers are comprised of students, faculty, and staff members of the University of Florida. As a volunteer, you will serve the important role of:


  • Greeting and welcoming our new and returning Gators and their families to campus
  • Managing moving carts/dollies
  • Assisting with unloading cars and taking items to students' rooms

Move-In Dates & Shifts

Fall: August 15 - 17 by appointment 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Shifts


  • 8 a.m. - 10 a.m.
  • 9:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
  • 12:30 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.
  • 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Additional Information


  • Move-In training will be provided
  • Volunteers will be provided with an official Student Life t-shirt to wear during their shifts; quantities are limited
  • Finalized volunteer shifts will be emailed prior to your shift to the email address you provided
