Responsibilities
- Develop and implement educational programming on resources available within the surrounding Gainesville community and those living off campus
- Compile assessment data utilizing information to generate reports for decision-making
- Assist with daily operation of Off Campus Life including answering incoming phone calls, emails, walk-in appointments, and maintaining appropriate filing
- Resolve customer or resident questions and provide the proper resources
- Assist with social media planning, messaging, and management for events and programs
- Attend Off Campus Life events and programs to generate social media content for current and future events
- Create a welcoming environment for all students, families, and visitors through positive interactions and engagement
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus
- Must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average
- Registered students are employed on a part-time basis, up to 20 hours per week
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, dependability, and timeliness
- Knowledge of social media platforms
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- This position may require availability for shift times on evenings and weekends
