Students who are currently enrolled in a class and enrolled in at least one Spring 2023 course may request to stay in Graduate and Family Housing without enrolling in classes for the Summer 2023 term. Graduate and Family Housing students may not take two consecutive semesters off from class or be non-enrolled for two out of three semesters. Therefore, students granted an extension for Summer 2023 must take at least one course during the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters to remain in Graduate and Family Housing. Residents (non-graduating) who were not enrolled in at least one class during Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 terms cannot petition for an extension for Summer 2023.

Please remember that all Graduate and Family Housing students must submit a Notice of Intent to Vacate 60 days before moving out. Residents who do not submit a Notice of Intent to Vacate before moving out could be obligated to pay a maximum of 60 days’ rent after moving out.
Currently, enrolled students who are graduating this semester (Spring 2023) may petition for an extension.
Students who are clear before graduation for the Spring 2023 semester do not qualify for a semester extension beyond graduation and must move out by April 30, 2023.
