Non-Enrolled Petition

Students who wish to remain in Graduate and Family Housing for any additional amount of time they are not enrolled in classes must request permission to do so by the last day of classes in the semester prior to the semester off. If you would like to stay for a semester without being enrolled in classes, you must fall into one of the following categories:

Semester Off

Students who are currently enrolled in a class may request to stay in Graduate and Family Housing the following semester. Students may not take two consecutive semesters off from class. Residents (non-graduating) who were not enrolled in at least one class during the immediate past semester may not petition for an extension.

To request permission to remain in Graduate and Family Housing for any additional time beyond the date you are required to move out, please fill out the form below. If you have questions, please email villages@ufsa.ufl.edu.

Please remember that all Graduate and Family Housing students must submit a Notice of Intent to Vacate 60 days before moving out. Residents who do not submit a Notice of Intent to Vacate before moving out could be obligated to pay a maximum of 60 days’ rent after moving out.

Graduating Students

Currently, enrolled students who are graduating this semester may petition for an extension of one semester.
